Scholarship Eligibility

The NE Eagle Scout Scholarship is awarded annually to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Have earned the rank of Eagle Scout (verified by Boy Scouts Mid-America Council or the National Eagle Scout Association)
  • Live in Nebraska or in Harrison, Mills, or Pottawattamie County in Iowa
  • Graduate from high school in Nebraska or from high school in Harrison, Mills, or Pottawattamie County in Iowa
  • Plan to attend an eligible college or university in the state of Nebraska as a first-time freshman in the Fall following high school graduation

Eligible Schools

For the purposes of the NE Eagle Scout Scholarship, eligible institutions are post-secondary institutions in the state of Nebraska which are participating in the Title IV federal student aid programs AND which have been authorized by the Nebraska Coordinating Commission of Postsecondary Education to operate in Nebraska.
